Chris Losavio is a drum set artist and educator who has been playing, touring, recording, and teaching drums for over 20 years. He holds a bachelor of the arts degree from Rutgers University. Chris has studied with many notable drummers over the years such as Pat Clark, Joe Bergamini, Dom Famularo, Chris Pennie, Bernard Purdie, and currently with Galen Lemmon. He actively performs with the United Nations Symphony Orchestra, SF Freedom Concert Band, the punk rock band Nervous Triggers, and a variety of other projects. Chris taught privately to students of all ages and abilities in New York City and New Jersey for the past 10 years. His objective while teaching drum set and percussion is to provide students a solid musical foundation and vocabulary to express themselves and help them to find their own unique voice.
